  1. Nearly anyone can create a “website”.  There are programs you can download from the internet and have a “website” up and running in a couple of hours. So, having a “website” doesn’t take a lot of effort...the question is: “Does it work for you and help you make money?”
  2. The combination of your domain name, key words and especially the home page design is literally the “make or break” aspect for beginning website effectiveness.  For these features to actually work for you it MUST be designed by a salesperson who knows about real estate sales.  We quickly found that most web designers and their staffs have technological abilities but nearly no sales ability.  So the vast majority of web sites have a one or two second visit and the prospect move on.  We know how to have a high capture rate of home page visitors AND how to get them there to begin with.  How does your site work for that?
  3. We wanted our website to be a virtual “one stop site” for all our real estate activities. The idea of having our lead management, marketing and reporting systems all in different sites took too much time and labor from us.  We wanted a system to enable us to keep up with the details of our work but allow us to spend most of our time with prospects and clients, not sitting at a computer and doing input or having to pay someone to do that.  Our site does that for us.  Does yours?

Our world of real estate today is a combination of High Tech/High Touch.  For effectiveness you must have the technology to enable you to have high productivity or you will not be competitive.  Use of a highly effective website is the beginning of that.  BUT you also must have high touch since a real estate transaction ultimately goes from the initial meeting through to the closing stage and you must master those skills as well.  The skills to achieve greater effectiveness via technology such as texting and responding to a web site hit are DIFFERENT than those you would use in a typical meet and greet in person situation.
